We got an opportunity to explore the DART base compound where DART Rescue Vehicles (DRV) and DART amphibious vehicles are prepared for use in emergencies.

To summarise this trip, we can say that we had a fruitful and enjoyable trip at the DART base. We got to meet professional firefighters and experience the feeling of being in a firefighting vehicle. NCDCC Cadets also learnt the importance of having physically and mentally qualified rescuers to serve our beloved country, Singapore and as well as other countries when they are in need of help. Undoubtedly, it was a Saturday well spent and we encourage others to step up and strive to be like the DART base first responders.
